The book as a medium is considered to be silent, yet the reader always creates a voice within his head. The artwork exploits such attributes of the medium-ship of the reader and by provoking the individual's perceptual confusion, it intends to communicate its message through the feelings it creates. This is achieved by replacing the reader's inner voice by an external one, yet the Modern Book of Cynics is not the written text neither the narrated one. It is the whole of the reading experience it suggests, and its message is communicated through the feelings it creates;
It is a sarcastic commentary on the way values and priorities have been blurred by our westernized contemporary way of life.
