Özet

Haziran 2017'de jeotermal sondaj çalışması için zeytinliklerinin ortasında hafriyat çalışması yapıldığını haber alan Gülpınar köyü halkı, yürütmeyi durdurma ve iptal davası açtı. Sondaj çalışmaları hızlanınca tehlikeyi fark eden halk, zeytinliklerini korumak amacıyla, mahkeme kararını beklemeden makinaları çalıştırmamak amacıyla sahada nöbete başladı.

Zeytin Nöbeti 33 gün ve gece sürdü ve sondaj şirketinin sahayı tamamen boşaltmasıyla son buldu.

Synopsis

In June 2017, when the people of Gülpınar village found out about the geothermal energy excavation in the middle of their olive groves, they immediately filed a lawsuit to stop and cancel the execution. As the drilling work accelerated, the people became aware of the danger so without waiting for the court decision, they started a watch to prevent the machines from harming their olive trees.

The olive watch lasted 33 days and nights and ended when the drilling site was completely vacated from the drilling machines.
