Sombrero Ranch in Craig, Co is described as the largest saddle horse ranch in United States by its lead wrangler. After spending the last few months on the ranch's wintering grounds, the horses of Sombrero Ranch are rounded up on the first week of May. The horses will spend their summer working everywhere from riding camps and dude ranches, to Hollywood movie sets. The wranglers of Sombrero Ranch are joined by guest wranglers who help drive these horses across some 60 miles of open Colorado range, including a stroll through the small town of Maybell, on their way back to the Sombrero Ranch. Also, during this week the Equine Photographer's Network, run by Carien Schippers, puts together a horse photographer's dream workshop at the ranch. This is a short documentary of that workshop and The Great American Horse Drive.
