Kevin O'Sullivan is CEO of the Massachusetts Biomedical Initiatives, a private, not-for-profit economic development organization that promotes the growth and expansion of the biotechnology, medical devices, and medical, chemical, and biological informatics industries in Central Massachusetts. In this presentation, the October 17, 2017 program of The Communicators Club, he reviews what is happening within these areas today. Sullivan has been positioned for many years among key players in all this. By providing cost-effective science laboratories and high-quality business development services, MBI has hosted 102 tenant companies. Of these, 86 percent have stayed in Massachusetts after taking root with MBI's help. The organization boasts a cumulative economic impact of $550 million.
