The ‘Don Quixote’s World’ Project for schools and universities is an intercultural and interdisciplinary project to promote cultural diversity, tolerance and understanding of mental illness amongst young people.
This project has been developed by Panta Rei Theatre in collaboration with Dr Zerrin Atakan from the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College, Dr Nick Troop from the Performance Psychology Lab, University of Hertfordshire, Rose Bruford College and London Metropolitan University.
Don Quixote’s World workshops synopsis:
How to create a physical score and material starting from text and visual stimuli. Learn to apply some of the devising techniques used by Panta Rei Theatre during Rocinante! Rocinante!’s rehearsal. The work will be inspired by Cervantes’ Don Quixote.
