Testing a gigapan epic 100, doing 360 degree panorama with a GoPro HD hero stuck to it in time-lapse mode (3 seconds per photo). Some interesting results looks cool.
While the Gigpan epic 100 doesn't support time-lapse functionality you can achieve this by telling the robot to do a panorama and setting the top height the same as the bottom and the FOV (field of view) as low as possible. This way it thinks you are zoomed quite a lot and will do small movements on the same level. A flat panoramic 360 moving slowly essentially. That being said I was only testing this from a friend and may look into the Gigapan Epic Pro which supports larger cameras and has time-lapse support built in.
