Kapawi Ecolodge & Reserve is a project made up as a legally constituted company which belongs to the Achuar people who have lived in the Ecuadorian Amazon for more than 100 years. It is an ecolodge that works with sustainable tourism standards oriented towards tourist satisfaction through environmental preservation, and cultural dissemination and care. Further, the ecolodge supports the socio-economic development of the Achuar communities.
Vision: To be the preferred tourist destination in the Ecuadorian Amazon that focuses on the sustainable management of resources, environmental conservation and socioeconomic development; recovery and dissemination of the ancestral culture of the Achuar communities who, as guardians of the forest and hosts the hotel, provide a service with international quality standards to meet the satisfaction of visitors.
Mission: To provide tourist services commercially in the Ecuadorian Amazon to promote the responsible enjoyment of nature, environmental education and cultural dissemination of the Achuar people with the help of friendly staff to ensure customer satisfaction through compliance with international quality standards and best practices in sustainable tourism.
