The Global Island Partnership (GLISPA) co-hosted a ‘Leaders in Island Resilience’ high-level event on Wednesday, 15 November 2017 at the Godesberg Castle in Bonn, Germany. Island nations have become the leading force in building climate resilience. Their leaders met at COP23 to: demonstrate leadership of island countries; launch new initiatives; accelerate implementation of existing island commitments; and build a movement of people willing to take action to build island resilience globally through the GLISPA.
