In Tibet, many peaks are paved with legends and fire the imagination of millions of people. There is one, unique in the world, that is considered sacred by both Hinduists and Buddhists: Mount Kailash. This massive jewel-like rock attracts each year thousands of pilgrims in search of beauty and absolute.
Mount Kailash is surrounded by legends and myths and to this day no one has ever dared climb its 6700 meters. It is said that a single trip circling the mountain by completing full body prostrations will wipe away all sins of one's current life. Fascinated by this mythical mountain, Simon and Florence take us on their 900 kilometer journey to make the pilgrimage of their life. They are both driven by a personal quest: for Simon, it is a last homage to a loved one, for Florence it is a true desire for profound inner change.
Illustrated with beautiful photography, unforgettable encounters, drawings and legends, this documentary is a spiritual journey connecting our soul to make us experience the mystical and magical dimensions of this sacred place.
