Keynote address by Carlos De Leo. Leo, a professor of urban planning and urban design at Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, discussing the challenges and obstacles Mexico City must overcome in order to achieve sustainability and what is being done to work toward this vision. He will explained how the social, political, environmental, economic and legal factors combine to complicate the situation for this capital of over 20 million people. A panel discussion chaired by Pablo Policzer, Director, Latin American Research Centre (LARC) follows the lecture.
