Gerald Hoskins is the CEO of the Durri Aboriginal Corporation Medical Service.
Located in Kempsey, approximately half way between the cities of Brisbane and Sydney, Durri is on the traditional land of the Dunghutti people. In 2006, Aboriginal people in Kempsey comprised 9.8% of the population (ABS, 2006).
The Durri Aboriginal Corporation Medical Service (Durri ACMS) was established in 1976. The name Durri, meaning "to grow in good health" was bestowed upon the organisation by members of the local Aboriginal community.
