Our first live demonstration of the MindHack prototype device! The process is as follows:
Our prototype’s firmware is designed to wirelessly read the incoming EEG data from our subject (myself) via the MindWave Headset
The firmware is set to measure the subject’s “meditation” level which can be translated to brain waves in the 1-12Hz range (or low alpha)
The deeper/more consistent the meditative state, the higher the GREEN LED value on the meter.
The beginning shows me entering a relaxed/meditative state of consciousness with the main electrode on my forehead. As we pan over to the prototype, we see the green LED meter attached to the white breadboard is registering at half mass indicating a relaxed state. This is soon followed by a full bar register of green LED’s (right at 00:00:29)!
How about a little feedback with your meditation practice???
