A group of dancers and non-dancers got together on Saturday 28th May at Melissa's dance studio to rehearse a dance that they plan to perform on World Environment Day. They plan to surprise shoppers with a flashmob at a Warrnambool supermarket next Saturday (June 4th).
I popped the rehearsal up on vimeo so you too can learn the dance and organise a flashmob in your town/city.

WANT TO SUPPORT WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY? Join our flashmob in Warrnambool or create your own event. Learn the choreography and perform at a shopping centre or supermarket this weekend. Film your performance and send to us so a documentary of the event can be made.
FLASH MOB! (A flash mob (or flashmob)[1] is a group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual and sometimes seemingly pointless act for a brief time, then disperse, often for the purposes of entertainment and/or satire.[2][3] Flash mobs are organized via telecommunications, social media, or viral emails.[)) But ours will raise awareness about plastic bags.

If you're in Warrnambool come along to a rehearsal at Melissa's dance studio in Koroit Street on Saturday 5th June at 10.00am

Song ‘Plastic State of Mind’.
