A young Japanese lady faints in a Pachinko parlor in Tokyo only to hesitantly reinvent herself as a dream interpreter, until it starts getting harder to distinguish what was normal from what was not. With her scooter she visits strangers in the alienating city, who leave descriptions of their strange dreams on her analog answering machine and for a fee carries a form of ritual-performance for them as a "therapy" service. As the dreams trickle into reality, and a related parallel police investigation of a murder in Tel Aviv unfolds, what was real and what was not dims to be a faded threshold, in a poetic Neo-Noir art film.
