You couldn’t ask for a more beautiful wedding day or for a happier couple than Nicole and Jay. Nicole was in such good spirits when we arrived that you almost couldn’t tell she was preparing for her big day. Her girls were having a good time, too, and we took some great shots before leaving her house.
The girls took a limousine to Jacaranda Country Club (jacarandacc.com/), a beautiful golf club in Plantation, FL. We took them out back for a few shots next to some really colorful southern flowers. Before long, it was time for the bride and groom to see each other for the first time. The first look was a terrific moment for Nicole and Jay because you could really tell they adored one another.
The ceremony was a duel Catholic and Jewish ceremony and it’s always nice to see two large and diverse families joining together. One really special treat was the arrival of the bride and father in a horse drawn carriage. The newlyweds left in the same carriage, which took them around Jacaranda directly after the ceremony.
Jacaranda hosted the reception in their main hall overlooking the golf course. An extra-special part of the reception was the band, Just Us, which the bride’s father has been a part of for many years. The band was simply phenomenal and played some wonderful renditions of popular songs spanning the last few decades.
Thanks to Nicole and Jay and both their families for inviting us to be a part of their special day.
