Revised version of the prior One Candle lighting test. This time we used a parabolic reflector to get even more light output from the single candle.
In this shot, only one candle was used for everything. There is no other light in the room whatsoever, it was a pitch black studio, all light was supplied from one single tealight candle. That candle was mounted in a parabolic reflector to maximize its light output, and the light was pushed through diffusion to provide a soft key, and also was sent out as hard light to be bounced by two mirrors to light up the background, provide a hair light, and provide some fill light.
Camera was an AF100 on 3200 ISO, cine-D gamma, NORM2 matrix, using a Voigtlander 25mm f/0.95 lens set at f/0.95.
