Åsa Ersmark (SWE) Ersmark works with film, installation, photography, handmade objects, animation and the human body. She explores the concept of freedom, sexuality and the subconscious’ place and explosiveness in a patriarchal and consumption-driven age. Iaspis is the Swedish Arts Grants Committee's international programme for Visual and Applied Artists; in the fields of visual art, architecture, design, fashion and crafts. The premises of the Iaspis residency programme in Stockholm is centrally located at Maria skolgata 83 on the, urban island of Södermalm in Stockholm, and comprises offices, studios, project room and a unique archive of artists who are currently working in Sweden.
