In this new video from the Time-Space-Existence series, Mexican architect Tatiana Bilbao (b. 1972) suggests that the architect has a moral responsibility to foreground people over profit. "In the past fifty years, the role of the architect was totally directed and surrendered to capitalism. The architect really came apart from social housing in the whole world. I think when you go back, and you see that houses are for people, then architects need to be in the equation."
