Grenverk is a sound and art installation made by the artists and siblings Helena Persson and Henrik Persson. Grenverk was exhibited at Göteborgs Romanfestival, Nov 18-19, 2017. This years edition had a special seminar discussing the authorship of Maria Gripe - well known for every young Swedish reader. The installation was created on the theme shadows - referring to a specific series of novels written by Maria in the 80´s. This is the first work and collaboration for the two as both siblings and artists.
The installation Grenverk consist of two pieces; an audio visual installation with branches hanging from the ceiling, a black wooden circle, a light bulb, and stereo sounds from the forest and additional stereo sounds from doves, and one art work consisting the portait of Maria Gripe, screen print on metal.
