When the summertime weather is at it's driest, windiest, and in the harshest of glaring light, the yucca agave plant blooms, giving hope for the rainy season to come.
These yuccas were photographed with two homemade pinhole cameras in Sierra Vista, Arizona, in June of 2010 and 2011. It provides an interesting portrait of the city, from where the yuccas stand.
