Since starting music in the early 1990s, Shawn Rudiman has become a prolific figure in the underground electronic music scene — in both the US and Europe alike. Shawn is notorious for his live performances in which he improvises a symphony of synthesizers, drum machines, and sequencers, but is also revered for his impressive music studio, referred to affectionally as "The Space Station." His commitment to his passion is rare and unique, and it’s allowed him to perform his music around the world and release numerous records throughout the past 30 years — most recently with a retrospective, double-vinyl LP titled "Timespan."
"Timespan sums it up well. Some songs are almost two decades old, some are fresh. It's a paragraph written with words that have years between them. Somehow they still all sort of make sense together." (From the 2017 Timespan writeup)
