Almost 1,000 organizations, representing communities in 49 states across this nation,
responded to the Kellogg Foundation Request for Proposals (RFP) in 2009. The RFP
called for communities to engage in local efforts to heal the legacy of racism and
to work to reverse the structural inequities that can be attributed to that legacy.
Concurrent sessions are designed to provide safe, facilitated opportunities for every
grantee and invited guest to share poignant and instructional experiences -- stories
-- of racial healing that support individual and collective efficacy for achieving
meaningful change. (Video produced by: Mike Siv & Mike Frisby)
