SECRET INDICMENT Trailer 2002. R&B Duo Ruff Ends starred in this movie along with their manager "Black!" BLACK stole the show in the D.C. Coles motion picture directorial debut for the then burgeoning market of Urban DV Films aka You got a 3 chip and a boom?, let's make a "Hood" movie! My first feature, it was a lot of fun correcting the errors made in filming the hastily (like 48 hrs) written script. Mostly, the dead people showing up in later scenes, lol! Oh yeah, a young artist by the name of Mario was in the original cut, he and Ruff Ends had the same manager (who also doubled as the legal guardian for Mario). But he was later cut from the Barber Shop scene due to the expppllliiiccciittt sex scene. Shoutz to D.C. Coles who spent many late nights talking my ear off about the edit "MAKE IT LIKE BELLY!, A LOOOONNNNGGGG AAAASSSSS MUSIC VIDEO," how the distributor was sweating him for the cut which took an extra 3 months or so for various reasons, and for all the insightful stories he laid on me about his days coming up when the music video game 1st really got rolling. Him rocking with Hype when they were both interns making film drop offs at the developer, Death Row, Destiny's Child and a million other stories. I learned a gang of ish from the homie that a school will never teach you. Salute my dude!
