Well the year went something like this to start...
In March I went to Philadelphia to help my friend finish work on two FD cars that were being rebuilt there, and as well did some cage work. Soon after he offered me a job and with Long Beach being only 2 weeks away....I packed my bags.
Before I headed to Long Beach/Philadelphia, I headed to Louisville, KY for Round One of the Midwest Drift Union. After the event on sunday, I drove over night to PA where we loaded up and immediately left for Long Beach, CA. We stayed in California for a few weeks, both in SoCal and NorCal, then headed home 50 hrs to PA. But the fun part was that when I returned, only had a little over 1 week to work on videos and found out my Mac was having problems.
This was the story up until Road Atlanta, were my computer was fixed and I had a tremendous amount of video work ahead. So instead of doing something simple and putting out videos in quantity, I took a bit more time and give you this. A 10 min video of the Formula D story so far...
Round one was Long Beach.... with some new cars and old faces & a crowd of record numbers. Including Powers' V8 s14, and the introduction to new tire rules.
Round two was Road Atlanta, where cheap beer and clouds of tire smoke filled the night time lights.
And finally, Round three at the newest edition to the Formula D circuit...Palm Beach Int'l Raceway (PBIR) which went through two differant course layouts.
