Beginning Wednesday, January 4th:
"Once upon a time, there was an amazing man. In fact, the word amazing doesn't even begin to cover it. He came out of servitude. He was a Jewish slave. Back in the days of this man there were Kings, most of them very bad, and some of them exceptionally cruel and despicable. This man of whom I speak was so amazing that over a long period of time, maybe 70 to 75 years, he served in the courts of nine of those kings during some of the great shifts of civilization. He was by any standard, if not the greatest, one of the greatest counselors who ever lived, and he was a Godly man. His name was Daniel. He gives us a book in the Old Testament that bears his name. The Book of Daniel is an adventure into the future, into the ramifications of secular history that are unequaled. I'm going to begin a series on Daniel, the greatest Statesman who ever who ever lived. I can hardly wait for this one because it's not only about history, it's about tomorrow. I hope you'll join me."
