This video was created by two 6th graders, Nyssa & Macanve, who share a moving and inspirational viewpoint about their neighborhood and litter.
Our neighborhood - "It's beautiful. it's nice, it has great people. The only bad thing in our community is the trash. The trash is making us humiliated."
"Our expectation is to have good, clean streets, to have a better, cleaner life."
"And if you don't stop it now, nature and habitats get ruined."
Watch "Our Neighborhood: a Better, Cleaner Life - by 6th graders" and see what Nyssa and Macanve have been doing in their community, Alphabet City in Manhattan's Lower East Side, to address to educate neighbors.
"What about your neighborhood? Take the first step. Inspire others!"

"Our Neighborhood: a Better, Cleaner Life - by 6th graders" was created as part of Cafeteria Culture's Community Arts+Media for Trash Free Waters program, which was generously funded by a NY/NJ Aquatic Prevention 2016 Grant awarded by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 2 and the New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission (NEIWPCC). Additional support was provided by Patagonia, the Fund for the City of New York, and individual donors like you!
