Lagrima (Fransisco Tárrega)

Lagrima (Fransisco Tárrega)

Tim Higgins

My interpretation of one of the most popular and well-known pieces in the classical guitar repertoire. 'Lagrima' means 'teardrop', and was written by Spanish guitarist-composer Fransico Tárrega while staying in London, watching the (seemingly constant) rain and feeling homesick for his native country.

My arrangement here is performed on an Admira classical guitar. Recorded at Nemix Studios, Newcastle, in 2017. The video features photos taken by myself in Italy, in the cities of Lucca, Florence and and Rome, in 2016.

As always, comments welcome! Happy New Year & all the best for 2018, everyone! xx
