Awkward Moments is a series of artistic collaborations with music as starting point. Framed by six chapters and illustrating one life cycle, each musical chapter has a BPM (beat per minute) loosely based on the human heart rate and defined by a cyclical key structure.
Throughout each collaboration a new story is born, brought to life and shaped into a dedicated format (performance, installation, film, concert).
The collaboration is part of an artistic collaborative project that started in 2017. Awkward Moments series I was performed in London and series II
in Copenhagen the same year. Each series starts with creative encounters, continues with the merging of ideas and comes to life by bringing mutual skills together: a continuous collaborative process. Awkward Moments aims to explore the artistic expressions that create new perspectives.
