This is a part of my personal character rigging toolset I'm working on for C4D. Sorry, but I can't share this one...
It uses standard Joints and IK tags, plus Constraints and LOTS of XPresso. It's pretty heavy to develop, but it makes setup much faster. All that I need to do is copy-paste the fingers and align them to match the character. Then it can be fully articulated without any extra setup.
Due to time (and some laziness) I didn't fine-tune the weights for this demo. Just used the default weight applied by the Auto-Weight function.
The joint controls are linked to spline markers in the scene, though I could easily set them as plain User Data.
I'll finish the foot rig next, then the rest of the rig. There are so many conventions that I could use that it's taking some time to find one that works best for me.
