Khaoula left Morocco years ago for Paris, then Seville and finally London. There, she had a successful career, but she preferred to move to Barcelona, where she could live her passion: soul music.
Getting involved in a documentary production through a friend, Khaoula sets off on a journey through Morocco looking for sustainable projects in the Mediterranean area, with the aim of finishing her travels in Palestine.
Will she finally succeed in unifying the red line of the Mediterranean culture?
Her warm and melodic songs, combined with her natural ability to communicate with people with energy and enjoyment, bring us to a more familiar and intimate contact with Arab women.
Her thoughts, like travel notes, through Morocco, Egypt and Palestine, reveal to us the new faces of a modern
Mediterranean culture, caught between traditions and the new aspects of a sustainable lifestyle.
She explores the modern Mediterranean identity and asks the question: is the Mediterranenan area still an open field where cultures have a mutual influence?
