[Abstract of the Presentation]
Internet of Things (IOT) is a system resulting from natural evolution of ICT, which connects non-IT physical objects onto Internet and facilitates cognitive capability with sensor and AI. A more pragmatical view of such a system is a framework supporting the interplay of digital and physical worlds to improve the outcomes in both worlds. I have been trying to utilize technologies to capture and analyze what is happening in the physical world so that policies and smart solutions can be devised to improve issues of common interest such as energy conservation, mobility, sustainability, process efficiency and service quality in various granularity.
