London Academy students are offered work experience where possible and are given the opportunity to gain access to the industry through the contacts of London Academy and its support network. The average age of a London Academy student is between 23 - 43, you can enrol on any course from the age of 16 onwards. London Academy encourages mature students who may have missed the opportunity the first time round.

Established in 1998 to help aspiring individuals gain access to the media, film and TV industry, London Academy is now the UK's leading provider of short vocational media film and TV courses. Over 100 part-time, day, evening and weekend courses are available.

Becoming a TV presenter is possible, past students have found work at organisations such as the BBC, CH4 and a whole host of independent companies and worldwide institutions.

As well as offering make-up and photography assignments, London Academy students have worked behind the scenes and in front of the camera on popular TV shows such as the Bill, EastEnders, Hollyoaks, Skins, Sex & the City and numerous films that have been shown at film festivals such as Sundance.

Classes are relatively small helping students to learn more quickly with plenty of attention by the tutor, making your course more successful.
