When Two Worlds Collide” is part of an ongoing series dealing with the relationship between body and soul. This relationship can be peaceful yet sometimes explosive. This video was shown in the context of a mixed-media installation inside the Live Coal Arts Mobile in the 2017 Annual Sidewalk Festival. Audience members interacted with various stations, including "Baptism" where the video was shown surrounded by sea shells and small glass vials filled with water from the Huron River, where I was baptized. Guests were invited to pour the water over themselves. Other stations included, Conversion, Tongues, Marriage, Birth, Death, and Hope. I used photography to capture the installation.
