Third video from the Big Sur camping trip with Karen and Doug.
This is a compilation of a few short clips showing the location of our campsite, which overlooked the Pacific from a cypress grove, sitting above McWay Cove, in Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park. This is the most amazing campsite location I think I'll ever be so privileged to score. You have to register for it 9 months in advance. Yeah, it rocks that hard. Even the park rangers were jealous that we (in their words) "won the camping lottery."
Brief appearance here by the annoying Stellar Jay birds that scavenged every scrap they could and were a general nuisance. They looked cool, though--dark blue bodies with black mohawks. But they are my eternal enemy now as they got into our food one night and and ate all my treasured molasses cookies and perfectly mixed gorp!
