With support from a KF grant, 100 high school students in Cambodia were able to participate in a short ordination program, to live as monks and nuns for 6 days. The program was organized by Santi Sena at Prey Chlak Pagoda, Svay Rieng province.
The program was initially designed for boys only, but 50 female students applied. 30 were accepted, with special provisions made for these girls to stay at the pagoda. It was the first such program at the pagoda, and possibly in all of Cambodia.
