Solvay is a Belgian chemical company with 145 sites in 53 countries. In this video is shown the site in a small village in Tuscany, Rosignano Solvay, which endorsed the name of the company as part of its own name because the village developed from the agglomeration of employees habitations.
The drain of the factory, containing many components comprehending calcium chloride, goes directly into the sea radically changing the landscape that is becoming, how local people (ignoring their invisible toxicity) call it, "White beaches" or "Caribbean of Italy".
