Safety net is a walk-in, participatory, socially engaged installation which was first installed at Refuge: in search of safety, part of Fringe Arts Bath, 2017. Initially just a netting structure, over 17 days with many interactions from visitors, it was transformed into a vibrant space as visitors were invited to add strips of coloured cloth and tie on a coloured label.
Here, the artist, Lou Baker, packs away the netting with all the cloth and labels still attached.
