'My future' was the 2nd iteration of Lou Baker's Safety net installation ( see a video of that vimeo.com/252917569). It is a site responsive, walk in installation made with garden netting. The viewer is invited to walk into the space, sit for a while, reflect, and then can choose to write on one of the coloured luggage labels and attach it to the netting structure. There are also piles of torn cloth strips which can also be tied or woven to the netting. In this context, for Year 6 students on an Aspiration day, Baker invited them to reflect on hopes and fears for their future.
