A 7min trailer of the performance at Inbetween Time Festival 10 in Bristol (Dec 10).
A simple performance experiment testing out conventions of theatre, of watching and our imagination. A drumkit, a knife, a laptop and a performer are all that occupy a bare studio space.
‘Imagine Me To Be There’ plays with stereotypical fragments of narration we all are familiar with and with our urge to build up stories. The fragmented narrative oscillates between a performer in blue jeans and a woman in a brown fluffy bear costume and bright red high heels. Something evil will happen tonight.
