Showreel for Guy Sartorelli's 3D work.
0:00 - mocap ready full character rig for a group project. All rigging elements and mocap-retargetting done by me.
0:10 - the same rig on a different character model. All rigging elements done by me except for facial blendshapes (Tim Crossley) and correctional blendshapes (Tarn Greenlaw).
Showcasing the configurable automated breathing system
0:21 - same rig again. Showcasing the variable-pivot-point auto-stepping foot system (based on a combination of vimeo.com/74931978 and Jason Schleifer's Animator Friendly Rigging)
0:26 - rigid (no skin deformations) quadrupedal dinosaur skeleton rig. All rigging elements done by me, model by Michael Neal (and modified for public distribution by me with permission).
Showcasing the Sliding FK controls (based on vimeo.com/49353110 ) combined with an aim-based IK control which works with translation and rotation (translation keeps the head pointed at the control, where rotation does not)
0:35 - same quadruped. Showcasing the auto-IK toes (the square control at the base determines the ground height and toes will automatically plant themselves at that height) and correct forearm rotation.
0:39 - real-time prison video rendered in Unity as part of a group project. Custom c# scripts, lighting, and most layout done by me.
0:54 - Facial control projection tool for maya. Written in python and mel (only the installer is mel). Entirely by me.
1:31 - still-life render. All elements (modelling, texturing, lighting, rendering, compositing) by me.
