Evette Khaziran is passionate about animals and hopes to become a veterinary physician. Using this passion, her project explored ways to increase sugar glider populations in urban environments. Using night-vision cameras and motion detectors, she monitored a group of sugar gliders with particular focus on their ability to enter and exit nesting boxes. Using the data collected, she modified the boxes to create better homes for the sugar gliders.
