Struggling to squeeze himself, his three brothers, and all their surfing gear into one car for weekend surfing trips, Lachlan Bolton decided to develop a collapsible surfboard. While his surfboard isn’t the first developed that can break into modules, its ability to extend in size is a world first. The entire board takes less than three minutes to assemble and can withstand the forces and loads that come from surfing in the ocean, which is a major concern for riders as they don’t want it falling apart while catching a big wave.
