This is the video (done by Olivier Gourmel) of the logo of the VORTEX group, the computer graphics team of the IRIT laboratory, University of Toulouse, France.
It has been designed with 2 functional field functions and a functional composition operator. The ground is an implicit plane and the deformation of the logo on the ground is performed by another functional composition operator. Only 5 equations are required for this animation.
No mesh, no collision test !!!!!
The rendering is done using a standard ray-marching.
These are friendly surfaces !
