With the same level assessment as Chernobyl, the Fukushima nuclear disaster forced more than 100,000 residents to evacuate.
Some stayed in shelters in the area, sometimes exposed to as much radiation as in their house. Others chose to escape further.
All have one thing in common: they have no idea whether they will ever be able to return home.
