This is about as vulnerable as I get on the internet. I recently had the honor of making a video for my friend Jeff Cheeseborough for a fundraising event. The video is basically my story from when i was a teenager. I had reached a point where I thought I didn't belong here any more and was worthless. A very timely phone call from Jeff helped turn my way of thinking around. He's been my mentor and friend ever since. He even officiated my wedding.
My son Ethan is now the exact age I was (12) when I first got arrested at school. So, naturally, I felt he was the only one who could play the role. I think he did pretty good. Even though it was incredibly tough for me seeing him in these positions.
I just want to publicly thank Jeff for who he is and what he does. I would not be here if it wasn't for guys like him who take the time to care about people other than themselves. Jeff lives out everything he believes to the fullest and is an inspiration to me and thousands of others. I hope this video inspires others to care for each other and may it give hope to someone who felt the way I used to.
