As part of the British Council Literature Seminar on Writing Gender & Sexuality Poet Nick Makoha did some workshops in Berlin schools and was followed by DW Global Society reporters. After leaving Uganda as a child, Nick Makoha lost his native language. But for the prize-winning writer, it is poetry that has become his mother tongue.
