Slum dwellers and informal workers are key stakeholders in the struggle for improved housing and decent work In Durban & Bogota, each movement has made major progress.
In 2015-16 grassroots leaders from SDI, WIEGO & Avina in South Africa and Latin America came together to exchange organizing strategies and build solidarity between slum dweller movements & informal workers' organizations. Participants reflect on their learnings & on how it relates to implementing the New Urban Agenda.
