WWF isn’t just about saving endangered animals. We care about how all life on Earth shares our unique planet. This stunning short film celebrates the beauty, fragility and resilience of the natural world – and the people whose lives depend on it.
This video is international version of a WWF-UK commission made by Ad Hoc Films, London UK.
Using sophisticated animation and transition techniques, static still imagery and text are brought to life. 2-D stills are given depth and resonance through ‘Parallax Virtual 3-D’ animation techniques. This process is achieved by taking a high resolution photograph and stepping into it in 2-D graphics packages allow to create 5-7 layers of picture depth. Each of these layers is moved and resized. When all the layers move together, it creates the feeling of a super slow motion shot.
