Keynote Speaker/ Panel Discussion Moderator: Pam Allyn
Pam Allyn is the Executive Director of LitLife, a professional development organization for reading and writing instruction and LitWorld, a global initiative advocating for children's right to read and write through transformational literacy events and initiatives. Pam is the Founding Director of Books for Boys, a literacy project for adolescent boys in New York's foster care system. She has won several awards for her work with vulnerable readers, including two James Patterson Awards and a Points of Light Award. She is the author of several books for educators and families, including the award winning What to Read When from Penguin, and the forthcoming Pam Allyn's Best Books for Boys.
