The University of Tennessee Alumni Legislative Council hosted its first-ever Tennessee gubernatorial forum Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Hilton Garden Inn Nashville Vanderbilt.
All gubernatorial candidates, who are aiming to be Tennessee’s 50th governor, were invited to participate in the forum. Questions were submitted by alumni volunteers, and questions were selected and presented by an independent moderator.
“Your advocacy—with legislators and in your communities—for UT has become increasingly important,” said UT System President Joe DiPietro. “You—our alumni advocacy leaders—help amplify our university’s message with lawmakers and your community.”
